Aevitans in Action - Adam Hawrylchak!

If you've been around Aevitas Fitness, and the Aevitas Weightlifting crew specifically for some time, you've probably run into Adam Hawrylchak.  And if you're a coach, you've definitely been grilled by him on any number of topics! Adam has been a member of Aevitas for several years and has transformed from just a kid trying to get faster, to an unstoppable force on the weightlifting platform!

This year, Adam achieved a huge milestone in his lifting career - a chance to compete at the national level.  Adam competed at the USAW National Youth Championships in June. There he went 6 for 6 on the platform, and even successfully completed a Snatch PR of 80kg and a Clean & Jerk PR of 106kg!

His fellow athletes and coaches are not the only people taking notice, however. Adam was very recently featured on Spectrum News for his Youth Nationals appearance!

With or without the feature, we are so proud of Adam and the work ethic he brings into the gym every single day.  We have seen his transformation right in front of our eyes, and we are excited to see him grow in the sport of weightlifting and as an overall athlete in the future!
